Paola Crepax and Silvio Zanon
Paola Crepax
He can be defined as someone who was "born" in a furnace, in Murano, since as a child he used to go to that island to learn the craft. In the following years he collaborated with artists and designers of remarkable importance and fame. Today, he is a master of both creativity and execution and is known as one of the few left who still love this art and work with passion.
Silvio Zanon
He studied at the Art Institute of Venice which gave him the opportunity to meet many professionals in the field of design. After a series of collaborations he entered a glass making company and worked initially in the technical department, then in the research and development area, before becoming remarkably skilled in the field of lighting. As a free lancer, he has developed his own "production laboratory" where he can carry out a creative research which applies the ancient artistic glass making technique to the creation of a contemporary lighting system.
